| My favorite book of the Bible | One of my favorite books of the Bible is Isaiah! Isaiah is packed with brilliant imagery and combines poetic beauty with the timeless message of hope and profound theology. Although it is Old Testament, it contains the gospel as the central message, specifically chapter 53, beautifully portraying the suffering savior, Jesus Christ. Isaiah is a masterpiece and tapestry, weaving together redemption; it starts with creation and ends with prophecy of a new creation. It is a panoramic view of scripture! |
| Education & Certification | I have 16 years of classroom experience in grades 6-12, including public schools, private schools, and online teaching. I have maintained the highest level of teacher effectiveness for Tennessee’s evaluation process and have an active administrator’s license alongside my teacher license for English. I hold a BA in English from Lee University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Carson Newman University. |
